Tshwane FM 93.6 is a community radio station based at Tshwane University of Technology. Established in 2004 as a journalism training initiative and rebranded in 2010, it has grown into one of South Africa’s most influential campus stations.
The station serves Tshwane’s diverse urban and youth audience with a 60% music and 40% talk format, covering topics such as education, health, politics, entrepreneurship, arts, culture, and current affairs. Broadcasting mainly in English, it also incorporates other languages that reflect the multicultural identity of Pitori.
